MIRAN SOLUTIONS is looking for experienced Testing & Commissioning Technicians – LV Switchgear for one of our client companies in Qatar. The candidate will be responsible for testing, inspection and commissioning of LV panels and switchgear before delivery or installation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform testing and commissioning of LV switchgear and electrical panels.
- Conduct insulation resistance and continuity tests.
- Perform functional and electrical testing of panel components and circuits.
- Verify control wiring, power wiring and component connections.
- Test breakers, contactors, relays, meters and other electrical components.
- Review electrical drawings and testing procedures.
- Identify, troubleshoot and rectify wiring or functional issues.
- Record test results and prepare testing documentation.
- Coordinate with QA/QC, assembly and engineering teams.
- Ensure panels comply with approved drawings, specifications and applicable standards.
3–5 years of relevant experience in LV panel testing and commissioning.
Good knowledge of insulation resistance and continuity testing.
Experience in functional and electrical testing of LV panels.
Ability to read GA drawings, SLDs and wiring diagrams.
Knowledge of MDB, SMDB, MCC, ATS and DB panels is an advantage.
Experience in switchgear/panel manufacturing and testing is preferred.
